According to the Global Assessment Report released by PBES, within a few decades, one million species of living things will be at risk of extinction, and within that decade, one-eighth of all plants and animals on Earth will disappear. Since August 8, 2016, Earth Excess Day, the amount of resources consumed by mankind has been greater than the amount of resources that the Earth can produce. The resources we currently use are in a state of debt that we borrow from future generations, that is, an ecological deficit.
To cope with the unsustainable flow of resources, I designed Piece to Life to draw the movement in the daily life of individuals.
1. Record small daily environmental movements on the checklist.
2. Discard the garbage on the screen.
3. After all the garbage is disposed of, we find endangered animals.
Users receive an intuitive message through the process of removing the garbage from the garbage dummy animals one by one and returning the animals to their original state.
